1. Pribella Forest

  • (プリベラの森)
  • Difficulty Rating: *
  • Recommended Level: 1
  • Area #1 is where Dahlia's house is located. Area #2 is one place you can take a girl for a date.

Steps

  • Complete Sia's first bulletin board request (meet everyone, talk to everyone at least once, and then ship something).
  • Then, the next time you go into the forest, Wells will talk to you.
  • In areas 7 and 9, you'll find that there are statues you can turn. The statues that don't look like polka-dotted teddy bears are the only ones of concern. (The bear-like statues are Dahlia's creations and are just decoys.) Turn the other statues so that they are facing each other across the water. Once the two statues are facing each other, two sets of stairs will open. These stairs lead to area 10.
  • Unfortunately, you can't go into the middle area, because there are no bridges leading to it! Go both BOTH staircases to check each side, and then go talk to Dahlia. You'll convince her to use her artistic ability to build beautiful bridges! ... She'll then immediately build two rainbow-coloured bridges to cover the gaps.
  • The boss is in area 11, and the orb in area 12.

2. Sol Terrano Desert

  • (ソル・テラーノ砂漠)
  • Difficulty Rating: **
  • Recommended Level: 15
  • The monster settlement is area #6. Cururufa, Ondolfa, and Zeze live there. From now until after you beat Invael River, you can come here ONLY when in monster form! Area #2 is a "date spot."

Steps

  • First there is some running around involved as you talk to both Wells and Cururufa in order to get an understanding of why the horned people live apart form the humans.
  • Cururufa will ask you to take Zeze around with you as you look about the desert. Talk to Zeze, and you'll get the chance to take him along. You can help each other level up, so just keep fighting with him until you reach level 20 or so. You'll both gain EXP with each monster defeated (even if Zeze is passed out on the ground).
  • Cururufa first wants you to get a dragon skull, which can be found on the giant dragon skeleton in area 9. Defeat all the monsters, investigate the skull of the large dragon bones in the sand, and then take the skull and bring it to Cururufa.
  • Now she wants a flower that grows on a certain cactus. The cactus grows in area 12. Defeat the monsters, grab the flower and keep it with you! You can't give it to Cururufa now, but you'll have to later.
  • Once you get back to the monster settlement, it's in an uproar. It appears that the giant monster who lives beyond (area 13) is displeased about something. Cururufa insists that she'll take on the monster by herself, but Mais says he'll go in her stead. She agrees, and leaves you to fight the monster. (You don't have to fight it right away, do don't worry about it until you're ready.)
  • After beating the boss, Cururufa will remind you to bring her the cactus flower. She'll then mention the orb that is located beyond the boss room, and give you permission to see it. You can now get the second orb!

3. Oddwood Valley

  • (オッドワードの谷)
  • Difficulty Rating: ***
  • Recommended Level: 28
  • Area #2 is a "date spot."

Steps

  • When you return after beating the Sol Terrano boss, Sakuya will tell you that she has some food for you. Head toward the inn to get, it, and... You'll find Sakuya lying on the ground in front of the inn. She says she saw a large shadowy thing attack her, and fell down. The creature stole the food (fried char) she was going to give you. She thinks that the thing that attacked her came from the direction of Oddwood Valley.
  • As you get deeper into Oddwood Valley, you'll hear some roaring. At first it's far away, but the farther you get, the louder (closer) it becomes.
  • When you get to the boss room (area 12), you'll find that the only thing it contains is... A super failed dish. Mais wonders if that's the food that Sakuya wanted to give to you. (Knowing her cooking ability, she probably fried the char to a mess.)
  • Return to town and talk to Sakuya. She tells you that a lion-like monster attacked the restaurant.
  • Enter the restaurant, which will trigger a scene. You'll hear from Chocolat and Gluten that a lion-like monster attacked them. It stole and ate a fried char that Gluten had prepared.
  • The next time you try to enter Oddwood Valley, Ion will run up to you with a similar story: a lion-like monster stole fried char from her.
  • Talk to Gluten again, and Mais will connect the fried char to all three cases. (You might have to talk to Ion and Sakuya again, too?) Gluten will tell you how to make it: frying pan + char (iwana - イワナ).
  • Make fried char and bring it with you. Now, when you get up close to the boss room, you'll be temporarily locked in at a couple of points. (Areas 10 and 11, I think.) Defeat the enemies that appear and move on.
  • When you get to the boss room, investigate the middle of the room (there will be a red arrow as you approach the middle). Mais figures that he needs to put a fried char there. So put it there. The two lions will then appear.

4: Invael River

  • (インヴァエル川)
  • Difficulty Level: ****
  • Recommended Level: 40
  • Area #2 is a "date spot."

Steps

  • You'll need a couple of "lotus rider" (hasu raidaa - ハスライダー) active seeds in order to clear this dungeon. Buy them from the flower shop for 3200G.
  • The first time you enter (after beating the Oddwood Valley boss), you'll hear a sinister laugh. You'll hear that laugh several more times as you progress.
  • In the entrance area (1), you'll notice a sign with steps leading down to the water right next to it. The sign says that you cannot cross the river by walking on it. Instead, you need the lotus rider seed to get across.
  • Throw down the seed (it will turn into a lotus) and step on it. You can now go down the steps and float across the water. (Press A to get off the lotus when you're on dry land.)

5: Dragon Cave

  • (竜玄洞)
  • Difficulty Level: N/A (five-star)
  • Recommended Level: N/A (50 or 60 is best)
  • No "date spot" on this one!
  • This dungeon will be available to you AFTER you have proposed to the girl you intend to marry. The day after you propose to her, she'll disappear. In order to get access to this dungeon (which is located in the lake by where Ion and Carlos live), you'll have to do the following:

Steps

  • Talk to Carlos or Ion (you can talk to Carlos only if Ion is the girl who went missing), who will tell you that they saw her going toward the island in the middle of the lake.
  • Throw down a lotus rider seed and head to the island in the middle of Acuna Lake. There are ruins there, but...the door won't budge.
  • Go talk to Wells, then Marjorie, then Ondolfa, and return to the lake. This time, Ondolfa will warp you to the island. He and Marjorie will manage to get the door open for you.
  • Now you're in! Make sure you have plenty of healing pots and at least one rider lotus seed. You'll need it.
  • Once inside, it's a straight path to the end. However, wind coming from area 7 prevents you from going up the pathway that leads to area 8. You have to go around the long way.
  • You'll need a lotus rider to cross the water in area 5.
  • There are four rooms where you need to defeat all enemies to go on: listed as areas 6, 8 10, and 14 on the map
  • In area 3, defeat all monsters, investigate the statue, and then feed the statue 4 sakura turnips. (They're the pink ones that grow in spring.)
  • In area 7, defeat all monsters, investigate the statue, and then feed the statue 4 cucumbers.
  • Once you clear area 7, the wind will stop and you can proceed to area 8.
  • In area 11, defeat all monsters, investigate the statue, and then feed the statues 6 spinach leaves.
  • In area 15, defeat all monsters, investigate the statue, and then feed the statue 4 turnips.
  • Once you get beyond area 15, I would suggest that you select option 2, save the game at the save spot, and then continue. Area 15 leads straight to the final boss battle!
  • When the boss is low on HP, he'll do a platform-engulfing attack that appears to kill you. However...no matter how much damage you take, your HP WILL NOT drop to zero. The lowest it will go it 1. So work your way up to him and deliver the final blow!
  • Once you've beaten the boss, simply sit back and watch the wedding ceremony!
