Basic Controls And Tips

Game Controls

  • Pointer - Point & Click to talk to people, examine objects, enter/exit maps, and move your character around
  • D-Pad - Move your character
  • A - select
  • B - cancel
  • 1 button/shake remote - Opens the menu

Your Home

  • Your bed - Save your game (and find out if anyone new is coming to town).
  • Calendar - See if you have any scheduled visitors; click on a marked day to see who is coming, and what they want to order.
  • Customer List - View data on every customer you have served, how often they have visited your shop, and what their favorite thing is.
  • Sometimes if you serve Mr.Gourmet, the newspaper will come in the next day. He wrote a review about your shop!

Planting Crops

  • Crops take real-time days to grow.
  • To plant a crop, point & click with the Wii Remote on an empty field and select "Plant Seeds". Choose the crop you want to grow from the menu (of course, you have to buy the seeds first).
  • Use Fertilizer to speed up the growth time of seeds. The crop will always be ready to serve by the next day.
  • Watering crops is like planting them. Click on a dry field and select "Water Crops".
  • With a higher level watering can, you don't have to water your plants every day.

Animal Care

  • Animals automatically go outside on sunny days.
  • You don't need to buy food for your animals.
  • Feed your birds every day to keep them healthy. Click on a bird to feed it or see how it is doing.
  • Cows eat the grass when they are outside, but you need to feed them when they are inside.
  • Buy a brush from the tool shop and use it on your cows to keep them healthy. Click on a cow to brush it or see how it is doing.

Useful Tips

  • Shopkeepers change every other day. The shopkeepers can only visit you on their days off.
  • Likewise, the people visiting Clover Town will change every day. (It's possible to change who is in town by resetting the game, if you are looking for a specific person).
  • Talk to your grandfather every 24 hours for an allowance of 50G.
  • Expansion packs (DLC) were released for 500 Wii Points each. They were downloadable through the game's start screen. They include exclusive characters, crops, animals, and storefront decorations.

Storyline

Premise

When a boy and girl that believe in each other
are able to show their happiness together
The Sprites will appear,
bringing a breeze of smiles with them

In Clover Town, there is a legend of Sprites that can bring this happiness. However, at the present time, that legend, and even the people living in the town, have begun to disappear and forget about each other. As the protagonist, you are a city kid who moves into this common country town blessed by bountiful nature. Because your parents are away on business, you come to live under the care of your grandparents in Clover Town. And in that town, there was a shop owned by your grandmother that you loved very much...

Bring Back Clover Town On the northeastern side of town, there is a windmill with 4 clover wheels. As you progress in your game by unlocking more visitors and game content, and making consistently high scores, story events will begin to happen, and the clover wheels will begin to turn again, one by one. Bringing back the clover wheels can unlock more game content and a greater variety of visitors will come to your town!

How To: Juice Bar

Customers may order:

  • What kinds of fruits/vegetables they want in their juice
  • How smooth they want their juice
  • What kind of ice they want in their juice (need Ice Maker)

Stage 1: Vegetable Shooting Gallery

  • Point & Click with the Wii remote to shoot down the ingredients that your customer requested. Watch out for the fakes.

Stage 2: Chop the Ingredients!
(Requires Product Slicer)

  • Swing the Wii remote left and right as the ingredients fall toward the red line. The timing is random, so stay alert.
(Hint: If you're having trouble cutting the vegetables, try swinging the remote just as the vegetable begins to pass the red line)

Stage 3: Blend the Ingredients!

  • Hold the Wii remote horizontally and shake it up and down rhythmically to work the juice presser. Try and keep the power level where the arrow is pointing. Points will be docked from your score if you shake the remote too fast, too slow, or unevenly.

Stage 4: Ice Cube Memory Game
(Requires Ice Maker)

  • There will be 3 different containers with 3 different sizes of ice cubes. The game will remind you which kind you're supposed to choose, so don't worry if you forgot the customer's order. The containers will close shut and shuffle around several times. Point & Click the correct container with the Wii remote.

How To: Egg Decoration Stand

Customers may order:

  • What kind of egg they want
  • What colors they want the egg to be painted
  • What kinds of decorations they want and how many
  • What kind of design they want (cute, cool, tropical, etc)

Stage 1: Egg Memory Game

  • Three birds will walk onto a stage; one of them is going to lay an egg. Remember which one is going to lay, and keep your eye on it as the birds shuffle around. If you get it correctly the first time, the stage should be over in around 12 seconds.

Stage 2: Egg Boiler
(Requires Egg Boiler)

  • Point the Wii Remote toward the TV screen, and tilt it left and right to raise or lower the heat on the stove. Increasing the heat will make the egg float, and lowering the heat will make the egg sink. Try to get the egg through the course without it bumping into walls or obstacles.

Stage 3: Rolling Egg Maze
(Requires Egg Roller)

  • Hold the Wii Remote horizontally and tilt it side to side to roll the egg through multiple stages of a maze. Try and roll it into the chicken nests, and avoid bumping into the cows.

Stage 4: Egg Painting

  • The customer will remind you what kind of egg they want.
  • Use the Wii Remote to select a paint color and start drawing on the egg based on the customer's specifications.
The possible colors are red, blue, green, yellow, and pink.
  • Add stickers to the egg.
The sticker options are star, heart, lightning bolt, flower, butterfly, and clover.
  • Add ornaments to the egg.
Ornament options are viking horns, ribbon, rocket ship, hibiscus ("tropical"), crown + moustache, and chicken face.

  • Skill Points: How skilfully you completed the order.
  • Birds' Eye Bonus: Judged by how quickly you completed Stage 1. (max 800 points)

  • Speedy Egg Artist Bonus: Judged by how quickly you completed Stage 4. (max 800 points)
  • Turkey Egg Bonus: If you used a Turkey egg, an automatic +800 points.

How To: Ice Cream Stand

Customers may order:

  • What kind of ice cream they want
  • What size cone they want
  • What shape of ice cream swirls they want
  • How many toppings they want

Stage 1: Milking Rhythm Game

  • The Cow will "moo" a sequence of notes. You have to mimic these notes by pressing the A button, B button, or shaking the remote. If you get all of the notes correct, then the stage will be over in around 35 seconds.

Stage 2: Catch the Falling Drops!
(Requires Milk Smoother)

  • Drops will start to leak out of the smoother pipes. You have to catch the falling drops of cream with a cup, and then hover over the ice cream container and press the A button to empty the cup. If the cup overflows, then you will lose the drops that you had collected before. Basically just empty the cup as often as possible, and try to catch as many falling drops as you can. There's a pattern to how it falls, so just keep practicing.

Stage 3: Swirl the Ice Cream!

  • Hold the Wii remote vertically, and start turning it in a circular motion to neatly swirl the ice cream into the cone. Try to be as consistent in your rhythm as possible, and maintain a decent speed (try using the spinning arrow on-screen as a basic reference, and use broader arm motions).
  • Sometimes the ice cream stacks so high that it might fall. If that happens, tilt the remote until the ice cream cone is balanced again, and hold it still.

Stage 4: Add Toppings!
(Requires Topping Machine)

  • The silhouette of the topping you need will pop up on the screen. Then, two lines of topping choices will scroll along the top and bottom of the screen. Point & Click the correct topping in time to add it to the ice cream.

SCORE TALLY

  • Time: How quickly you were able to finish the order.
  • Skill Points: How skilfully you completed the order.
  • Good Rhythm Bonus: Judged by how accurately you hit notes in Stage 1. (max 800 points)
  • Didn't Drop a Drip Bonus: Judged by how many drops of cream you were able to catch in Stage 2. (max 800 points)
  • Perfectly Swirled Bonus: Judged by how neatly you filled the correct ice cream shape in Stage 3. (max 800 points)
  • Expert Sniper Bonus: Judged by how quickly and accurately you completed Stage 4. (max 800 points)
  • Strawberry Ice Cream Bonus: If you used Strawberry milk, an automatic +800 points.
