A lively girl with wild intuition...

Fuuka (フーカ) is a were-animal that relies heavily on her intuition when interacting with others. She can't read or write human words, but she can easily pick up on when someone's being dishonest with her. She's traveled through many lands, but landed recently in Rigbarth. At first, she thought she wasn't well received by the townspeople due to miscommunication, but now laughs about it because she understands a bit more and realizes people were actually trying to be friendly towards her.

• In the Rune Factory 5 Destined Person ♡ Diagnosis Quiz, Fuuka was compared to Amber from Rune Factory 4/Special. If you're given her as a destined partner, the result reads: "Your destined partner is the were-animal girl Fuuka. In order to see the big world, she's been traveling to different countries. You'll become more and more attracted to her strong mental fortitude, which allows her to laugh in the face of adversity. She can't speak, read, or write in human language, but by spending time with her your world will broaden and you'll become an ideal power couple that has a positive influence on each other. As for a gift, choosing something shiny and sparkly will delight her!" The question featuring her chibi art is "Do you have a lot of hobbies?"

  Hello! I'm Aki Toyosaki, and I play Fuuka. We finished recording just a moment ago. I've always known about Rune Factory... So I'm very happy to have joined its world as such an adorable character. Fuuka was raised in a were-animal village. She has a fluffy tail and a furry pair of ears. She looks like someone you'd instinctively want to reach out and pet. Fuuka's also very friendly and inquisitive. But she has quite a sad past and many painful memories. That means she understands other people's pain. She's a kind soul who can be there for the protagonist. She's also hungry most of the time. I had a lot of fun recording those lines. That said, most of her "lines" consist of growls and such. But she expresses a lot of emotion through them. As you play more of the game, I'd love it if you got to a point where you don't even need words to understand her. I poured my heart and soul into each and every one of those growls. Our producer, Hashimoto, actually came to the recordings and let me know what he thought. He said it really sounded like I was making Fuuka's language my own. During recording, I would sometimes growl by accident while sitting down or responding to someone. I'd picked up Fuuka's manner of speaking without even trying... The growls just came out of me. I was really channeling Fuuka there. So while we were recording I became Fuuka, and Fuuka became me. "I really think your performance got across just how strong and cute Fuuka is. I'm so glad that we asked for you." That was some of the feedback I got. I should be the one thanking them for letting me play such an adorable character. I play lots of games, so I'm really looking forward to playing Rune Factory 5 myself. Thank you again for such an amazing opportunity. If you become good friends with Fuuka, you'll get to hear some very special lines... So please hang out with her a lot and get to know her better! They called me the "Growl Master" during recording, so I hope you all have plenty of chances to talk with Fuuka...and become Growl Masters yourselves! Make sure you play tons and tons of Rune Factory 5! This has been Aki Toyosaki, the voice of Fuuka. Rrr... (I'm so hungry!)
