"A pensive wanderer, Cliff showed up in Mineral Town looking for a fresh start. He spends his days repenting at the Church, though what sin he feels the need to atone for is between him and the priest."^[1]

Cliff (クリフ, Kurifu) is shy and thoughtful. He is also an individual who reflects on things frequently, and he doesn't hide his emotions well. He stands out when he arrives in Mineral Town due to his distance from other villagers, and relies on Carter and others to slowly integrate himself into the community.
