Beatrice (ベアトリス) is a young woman related to Norad royalty, but she seems to be hiding her identity. She has a strong sense of responsibility despite her sheltered worldview, and has a variety of talents that include being able to play musical instruments and riding monsters. At first, she didn't plan to get along with the residents of Rigbarth and was going to return to Norad as soon as she finished her business, but meeting with the protagonist and experiencing the kindness of the townspeople changed her mind.

  Hello, everyone. My name is Tomoyo Kurosawa, and I play Beatrice. We just wrapped up recording for her without any problems. When I originally received the materials for this game, I thought the art was so cute. And it had all these fantasy elements... But I also realized you could see how everyone made their living, and that it even had a battle system. So I tried to keep all those fun things in mind while I was recording. As I mentioned, I play a girl named Beatrice. Although she's trying very hard to hide the fact that she's a princess, it's painfully obvious that she's royalty. She uses refined language and conducts herself in a regal manner. I actually stood up a bit straighter while recording her lines. She's a little clueless when it comes to understanding how the world works for everyone else, but I think that makes her all the more endearing. Back when they gave me Beatrice's recording materials...the first thing that really left an impression on me was the fact that she didn't even know what an onion was. She even has her own royal attendant named Reinhard...and as I recorded my lines, I kept thinking about how he must go to great lengths to take care of her. Beatrice has a wide variety of lines, especially when it comes to everyday conversations. I'm sure that you'll all enjoy those. I like the ones where she discusses the seasons the most. When you've lived in a city for as long as she has, you don't have many chances to head off into the mountains or nature to appreciate the flowers and such. So as far as seasonal lines are concerned...I think they're a wonderful addition to any fantasy work, and this game is full of them. These characters also constantly express gratitude and excitement for things that we take for granted. It brought me a lot of joy, and I hope you all enjoy experiencing each season as you work on your farms. My grandpa used to work in the lumber business, and after retiring he turned the area around his store into farmland. I was born in a place called Chichibu, and while it didn't have many farms, I grew up with a familiar scenery of mountains and trees. So I had a lot of fun recording these lines for Beatrice. I'm sure that by the time you can actually play this game, the graphics will be absolutely stunning. I do hope you all enjoy playing it. And that's all I have to say. This has been Tomoyo Kurosawa.
